Health Care in America
Health in America is the best in the world. You can not find better care in the world if you have the right amount of money. The problem is not with the doctors, hospitals, or employers. I believe the problems come for the Insurance and Drug companies. Hospitals and Doctors both have to have insurance to practice, these insurance companies control the hospital by telling them what procedures they can perform and how big of a risk that is to the hospital.This control the prices of the hospitals. The doctors are put in the position to pay very large insurance premiums and even larger pay cuts when the join there insurance health system. Take a look at your insurance statement after you visit your doctor the large number is what the doctor submits to the insurance company and the little number is what insurance company pays the doctor. There is huge different in those two numbers.I am all for saving money but I don’t want to see a good doctor go out of business because I am stealing from them.

My wonderful family doctor even told me that if you pay out of pocket, you will be billed less than someone who’s insurance claims get filed. Like you said, they submit an higher amount that what they actually bill in hopes that the insurance company will pay them their fees. It’s a shame that you spend money on insurance premiums monthly and while they take the money that you pay them, you get minimal coverage. It is unfortunate that people have to die instead of getting the health care that will possibly save their lives.
